ONE10SPORT has been the home of soccer in the Southern Suburbs in Cape Town for the past four years, based in the quaint suburb of Claremont, on the corner of St. Michaels Road and Water Street. Our academy has always been open to both boys and girls, however, it’s been on our vision board from day one to have a dedicated girls programme.
With ladies soccer growing exponentially in the past five years and after the success of the 2019 FIFA Womens World Cup, it has inspired young and wise players across the globe to participate in this beautiful sport. Not only does it offer a fun team dynamic, but players also become incredibly fit without being consciously aware of how much physical work they are doing while playing.
Most girls in South Africa have very limited soccer experience and the Girls Summer Soccer Programme is a great place to start your soccer journey. Our girls coach, Stacey Gedult has been coaching the Academy’s U8 boys for two years and she is relishing the opportunity to help local girls finally realise their dream of playing social football.
