In a dramatic game between two of the league’s strong teams, Matt’s Team and The Expendables, Nick stole the show as Matt’s Team took all three points.

With skillful and tricky players of Matt’s Team facing off with the experience and physicality of The Expendables, the clash as expected, sparked into life early on. Goals, fouls, and more goals were on offer as the first half ended with a 4 – 4 stalemate. 

The youth and finesse of Matt’s team was on show in the second half as they stepped up their game and scored 4 goals in quick succession, and later put away another 4 goals to steal all three points with a 12-7 victory. With a big and capable squad present, the quick and constant rotation of the team bolstered the intensity of Matt’s team, keeping them fresh and physically fit to see off the second half with a win.

Given this stage of the season, this game truly set the tone for what is yet to come from both of the teams. With large squad numbers, completed with experienced and adept football players, both teams don’t seem likely to run out of steam anytime soon.
