Coming into the season as favourites to retain their title, the champions were stunned by new boys 2G1S in their first game, leading to questions regarding the team’s professionalism.

Those questions were well and truly answered however, as a professional display followed. From the first whistle the EasyPlay boys took control of the game, moving the ball quickly in attack and defending with an energetic and enthusiastic press.

The result also sent a clear signal of intent to title rivals 2G1S who play SA Maritime College later in the week. The two teams seem set to battle it out right to the end.
