Shin City, Season 1 winners, were heavily favoured to retain their title ahead of the 2019 Season 2 Premier League Final. They had finished the season top of the table and had, on two occasions this season, defeated their opponents in the final, MyComWinks.

However, a strong team performance by the challengers in the final, paired with key absentees in the Shin City line-up meant MyComWinks would walk away with the silverware.

It was a particularly splendid night for team captain, Liam Whitfield, who was crowned League MVP for his outstanding performance in the league. Whitfield found the net on nine occasion this season, providing nine for his teammates, too.
